Greetings;
This week Jean and I went on what we perceived as a short trip to  a hike to see Petroglyphs in Grapevine Canyon.
We knew it was on the way to Laughlin NV. What we did not realize that it was only 12 miles from Laughlin and about 80 miles from our home. Thus, the hour + drive each way was more than anticipated. The trip ended up taking most of the day.

However, we learned that many of the Glyphs were over a thousand years old. We do not understand what many symbols represent. Some who have studied them think they were to Identify a canyon where water was to be found, in addition, some of the native tribes in the area consider the Canyon Sacred. There were easily identified Glyphs of Big Horned Desert Sheep.  The Canyon today is called Grapevine Canyon because wild grapevines flourish along the drainage from the springs. We have no idea as to how or when they got there in the middle of the desert. We gave up the hike before reaching a small waterfall about 2 miles up the canyon.  Most of the Glyphs were on  boulder's at the canyon's mouth.

I have attached a few pictures of our adventure.

May you be blessed with the ability to discern the promptings of the Spirit when faced with choices in your life.

Love Uma & Grandpa Bird
